In the 60's the Spanish monk Justo Gallego Martinez fell seriously ill. He vowed to build a cathedral in case of survival. He survived, so he started, and continued. Although he is not an educated bricklayer,
although he didn't apply for a building permisson. His result up to 2004 is shown by my photos.
His cathedral is situated in Mejorada del Campo, a suburb of Madrid. For me it was the main reason to visit Madrid.
He is more than a model for creative or open-eyed people - wich also means me. These photos also provided me a love affair with a woman who also is Gallego's fan.
